The version of DXTBmp dosen't mention that its compatable for FSX i cannot find a FSX version, would the FS2004 version work? if so do i need to save into a 24 Bit BMP (I have my repaints as 32 bit) or alpha targa format, also how do I make a option for the aircraft in the selection menu?

SmileyOf course you can save in DDS dtx1,2,3,4,5 for (FSX)  flip it first,

...

Or better read the FSX-SDKa for more info about this, If I were you I would save it as BMP Dtx3 it does the same in fsx..

Bob. Unless this is an FSX default aircraft it's quite likely the textures are not in DDS format. My advice with repaints is to save edited textures in their original format. The format will be displayed on the blue bar (above the menu bar) when you first open an unedited texture in DXTBmp. The example below is a 16 bit Extended Bitmap in DXT3 format.

...

You can always change this later if there is a problem.
