I renewed premier membership recently but d/l seems to be at free site speeds. I ran a DSL test online, speed was great. Any help appreciated.  doug

Doug,

Sorry to hear this.

Can you tell me some more.

Presume you are logging in?

There are several things that can easily reduce connections speed such as home network.

Other things can help such as reconnecting to your ISP, rebooting your router/modem/etc, switching browser.

It's not us though.

More you can tell the more chance of me or someone trying to guess what it might be.

Thanks

pete

Sorry Pete about lack of info. I have tested my computer at other sites and experience good D/L speeds. The premier speeds during the last year at Simviation were exellent also. The slow D/L started after renewing my premier membership several days ago. I am thinking there may be a problem with my identification and password. Often, when I would log on to premier all went well until I selected forum and the top of the page would say " welcome guest please login" . I would log in and it would say " Hi Dougx". This did not happen all the time but maybe 20% of the time. I also notice in the member list the D is capitalized but in premier log in window it is not. This morning I tried login with Dougx. This generated an error message about user id password match. It seems that Simviation reckognizes me as a registered user but not a premier user. I think somehow I have screwed up with user/password maybe with respect to case sensitive issues. Doug

Hi Doug,

The forums are a completely different log in as they are open to all & separate from the main site.

You need to log into the members area from the front Simviation page or at the top of the forums menu (Simviation Members Site). You get no welcome there ... (sorry ...  Wink ) The welcome means you've logged into the forums (you can select to stay logged in to the forums so you don't have to log in each time.)

Try logging into the main members site & let me know how you get on.

Thanks

Pete

Thanks Pete... works much better!  Appreciate your help, just another reason Simviation has no equal. I feel very fortunate to have the resources available at Simviation.  Doug
