I'm not sure what you were asking in the PM... And I don't know anything about 3DSmax7.. I know it's like a payware version of Gmax.

If you're trying to model by the FSX/SDK.. why not just use Gmax ? It seems like you'll be running into all kind of little problems.. and 99/100 FSX modeling will be done on Gmax, not 3DSmax, so most of us won't be of much help to you.
