So it will get moved..... for gawds sake, you do this as a hobby?  Between paying for it, downloading it and going to all my fave forums to post the news and let others know quickly I guess I committed another mortal sin!

Yes I do it as a hobby, and I'd like to see what you can do about it. There's a reason we have a Payware board. It's always a good idea to keep things organized.

Technically, Ashar did nothing wrong, you posted in the wrong section obviously oblivious to the payware section. Not his fault and he was only pointing that out....

The Payware section is for some reason right down at the bottom of the list. I think it should be higher, at least above the 'jokes' section! - come on, this is a flight sim forum.

I'm waiting for the boxed version of PDMG's 747 to be released.

There's a very good reason for that. Simviation was always primarily concerned with promoting Freeware & still is to the best of my knowledge.

Seriously, I think the categories are the problems not people making the wrong postings, or those who point out the error of their ways.

Could we consider having categories such as Add-ons, which can be subdivided into 'aircraft', 'scenery' and the like, and then with threads for the individual products/projects.

A large proportion of members use add-on aircraft, scenery, AI, AFCADS, you name it.  Whether they are pay or free is somewhat arbitrary, and carries a touch of the pejorative about it - it is nicer to be free than commercial.
