Anyone any idea how this can happen? Never happened before. Started after I installed NickN's sun fix, but I don't think that is the problem, as once I removed the sun fix, it still does this. Any help much appreciated Smiley

Yup, I'm pretty sure its not that though, still happens when I remove the effect and restore the default.

I really don't know what to tell you then. You'd have to consult Nick or someone more experienced than me. I'm afraid I've never seen this.

Your lucky.  Last time I saw that on my screen was the day before my video card decided to self destruct.  Glad to hear you fixed it with no problems.

did you remove the suneffect.cfg ? and place the ORIGINAL BACK???in the main FSX directory? or maybe you accidentaly delete a file ,try the restore ,or try the repair option of FSX..

I didnt have any problem with Nick's sun I unistaled and reinstaled like 4 times (for the shots I show here) http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1193078704 ; and I didnt have a problem at all, so I suggest not to blame Nick's
