I've seen quite a few beautiful liveries out there...But yes, that one's cool too...However, I prefer the good old Canyon Blue...It looks marvelous on the 737-700W... Wink

Yes thank you 727-200 is the absoulute most beautiful airliner created. Tri-jets rule all others.

As far as jetliners go, I'm quite fond the the A330.  I'm usually a boo airbus guy, but man that bird is beautiful when it lands!

Faves;
A330
A380 (when it's in the air it's actually not that bad)
Concorde
VC-10

And of course, when we move outside the realm of the airliners... the spitfire, typhoon, raptor and F-35 Lightning 2 are all faves of mine Wink

P.S. I've never actually understood the appeal of the 727. At risk of personally insulting everyone who's posted in this thread before me (ulp) I've always thought of it as just another tubeliner.

In fact that opinion spreads to all trijets. I've always thought them a little bit ungainly - and certainly less good looking than a jet with wing-mounted engines. They don't look as well-balanced to me.

Thank you, someone else who agrees with me on the last part about the A330.

Very nice choice of paint there Jet Ranger, I have a 1/500 scale model of Southwest Shamu.

Spitfire, the appeal behind the 727 lies in the - sharp, pointed nose, high sweep, far set point for the wings, graceful t-tail, with a very nice tail to boot (engine number two really helps it here).

Concorde is a beauty - who doesn't enjoy such a sharp nose (I love aircraft with sharp noses, in case you cannot tell).

to add to the 727 argument thing...

I'm attracted to all tri-jets, simply because they're different....It's nice to see a DC10 or Tu154 after a long day of 737s and A320s Wink....I would love a 727 to turn up at Manchester Cheesy

PS...my favourite livery
