Nope I haven't and I won't. I see, feel and hear trains go by all day long at a distance of just 2 or 3 metres at work so I don't need them on my pc too. I know of a co-worker who ordered it.

I'm a huge rail fan (got an HO scale empire in the works), and I tried Microsoft's Train Simulator a few years ago....  I gave up, 'cause it was so buggy and unstable.

Last year, I tried Trainz2006, just out of curiosity... and so far, I'm pretty pleased with it.  Smiley

I enjoyed playing with real choo choo trains. Grin If I had been an official railroad worker, I would have had the title of brakeman.

Nope ........ I'm not able to use anything thats hard on the graphics card at the moment, and it isn't heat that's an issue for a change.

Nice heads up, hopefully some good freeware websites will spring up.... I liked MS train sim, mainly for the atmosphere of being down among the scenery, and 'going somewhere' And the new MS train sim will, afaik, be only for Vista, DX10 and probably, if Aces' FSX is anything to go by, released in 2008 for computers that will be available in 2009 and which I'll be able to buy in 2010 or 11... Smiley

This could be just the ticket  Cool
