I am trying to add files I have downloaded from fsx for realpilots I have teh files but have no idea how to add them to fsx. I only use PC's for aviation software so I need it to be explained like I am a first grader. From looking around here it appears there must be an fsx folder I can open to paste these files to but I ahve no idea how to get there. Thanks

What files are you trying to add? That'd be helpful. Scenery is installed completely differently than aircraft.

I am trying to add flights which would show up in freeflight after clicking load. They are used in conjunction with the book FSX for real pilots and are training scenarios. Thanks

The saved-flights are stored here:

C:\documents and settings\username\own files\Flight Simulator X       //usually C:

so adding the add-on-files there makes them show up in the freeflight --> load section
