BREAKING NEWS: CAV Corporate Restructuring Completed!

Canadian Airlines Virtual is pleased to announce that development on our new website is finally completed! After two long years of planning and hard work, we have successfully completed the migration from classic ASP to ASP.NET 2.0. The new website is designed for ease of use for our pilots, and visitors to our online home. From the new look all the way to the flight bidding system, this entire piece of software has been coded from scratch, in-house, by CAV developers, and planned with all the flaws of the older website in mind.

Pilots who have been members with CAV thus far have had their accounts transferred over to the new website. All flight hours have been transferred as well, but the changes will not take effect until later tonight when the new website runs a check on the database. Pilots will receive an e-mail when their rank promotion has taken effect.

Our flight schedule has not been fully completed yet, so we are currently using the one from the old website. When the new one has been completed, all members will be notified.

In addition, Canadian Airlines Virtual is proud to announce that just over a year ago, we placed an order for 20 Boeing 737-700s, with options for an additional 20 more!
CAV staff members are very proud of our new 737s, which are equipped with blended winglets and will streamline operations and training for years to come. Our 737-200s will be gradually retired as the 737-700s arrive, but the Airbus A320s will remain with us for a few more years to sustain capacity. Our first 737-700 is slated to be delivered in November of 2007. Read more on our forums!
