Thinking of expanding my 4 engine simpit for some "long haul".  Looking for a four engine option.  Have a 747.  Considering an Airbus too.

Particularlty want a realistic FLIGHT MODEL.

Suggestions?

best,

Well, CLS has an excellent selection of A340...They have modelled the A340-200/300/500/600...The external model is beautiful and the aircraft is a dream to fly...However, it's not very advanced...It doesn't have a Functional FMC...The FMC integrates with the FS9 Flight Planner...you don't actually program it...But they are the only ones who have modelled the A340-500/600...I would suggest you get it...

Yeah I have all the CLS A340's and IMO the models are very good but they might lift off a bit quickly...

Overland Airbus has all the A340's...there are lots of great paints availiable...and the package has the A330 and A320 series (19, 20, 21)

No, CLS is not the only option and it's not the best either Wink

Uhm...In case you haven't noticed...the CLS and Overland Airbus are exactly the same...Albert worked on both of those...It's no wonder they look eerily similar... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Okay...so maybe they are exactly the same, I wouldn't know, I only have the Overland.  And I think the Overland package would be more bang for your buck.

Hmmm the CLS model is defiantly more 'in depth'

I would hardly class the Overland models as worthy of Payware. If they didn't come in such a comprehensive pack with so many variants I doubt many people would buy it.

Plus, John only want an A340. Whats the point in getting the whole Airbus family that are less detailed, when you can spend the same/slightly more on one aircraft that is vastly more detailed?

You could buy 4 bottles of Walmart cola for the same price as 1 bottle of real Coke, sure the Walmart stuff is cheaper but if it tastes like piss whats the point?  Huh
