Totally unexpected, I caught my first ever Cap Cloud today... These lenticular-related clouds are formed when humid air is force up into higher colder air, by another cloud or a mountain, where it condenses into these covering clouds...

Nice catch. I don't think I've seen such a big one on such a small cloud. Shocked  Those happen quite often during the summer around here.  The cumulonimbus clouds grow so fast and punch through that layer that the cap clouds can be quite impressive.  It almost looks like an airplane breaking the sound barrier...
