it's a brand new Edit this...I know it's been 3 weeks since the last one Wink

We are sticking to a tried and tested competition style this time, but in a few weeks I'll set up something a bit different (thanks to a couple of suggestions from helpful people Wink

So, this week, I'm giving you a choice of two backgrounds to edit, both from my hometown of Bristol Cheesy

THE RULES:

1) Images may be edited in ANY way (normal edits or composites)
2) Part of the edit has to be from the provided photo
3)The Gallery Judges will make their choices much like the Gallery Gates - if there are more than 5 entries there will be a poll going up with their top 5 choices
4)Post your entries in this thread as a clickable thumbnail or link
5) Finally the most important rule....enjoy yourself...editing is fun

Go on have a go.....even if you're new to editing....this is a good place to start

Nice, what is your method for doing the shadows?

For instance, if the CRJ is a seperate layer, select layer transparency, transform selection, disort and then mirror it. Fill it up with black and fiddle around with the opacity

Here's what I came up with...Excuse the terrible editing...I'm on a laptop and all erasing was done using the stupid little touchpad...I need to get my self a mouse...Oh, and I can't do shadows at all... Roll Eyes

Yes, the VC-25 is now in my top five favourite planes. Who couldn't like it in all its Boeing 747-300 fuselage/747-200 upper deck/747-400 enginey goodness? Not to mention the paintjob.

you need to add a '.jpg' to the end of that code... and you may also need to change the name; after modifying the link via quoting your post, it looks like there's already a shot on the SimV server named 'city'...
