Good road add-ons?! (Read 864 times)

I just noticed I haven't a road add-on yet, I searched for them and found these 3 above.

USA Roads is distributed by Flight1,
Roads and Rivers Of Europe by JustFlight,
and All Roads of Europe by Aerosoft.

These three distributors are without a question the 3 largest ones.

USA Roads looks good to me (the screenshots there),
only at night the small streets are maybe too much lighted.
The pictures of All roads, they don't show roads, just landscape?!
I also read a review about Roads and Rivers,
but of course that is just what one person thinks,
nad more opinions are always better.
Also the rivers there didn't look very good I think.

I haven't seen very much screenshots of them,
and so I can't say more.

Do you have one of these products?
How are they?
If you don't have them, how do you think of them?
Or would you suggest another product?

Thanks in advance!  Wink

For the USA get Ultimate Terrain USA (or Ultimate Terrain USA X for FSX).

The roads are far more accurate and plentiful than default. And you get traffic (in FSX) running on most of them, not just the big highways.

Yes Ultimate Terrain looks good, but I already have FSGlobal Mesh.
For the USA -- No not especially, Europe would be better  Wink but USA is also a "place" I often fly.
I saw they have also eu and canada&alaska, we could hope there's more coming...
Won't I get conflcicts with FSGlobal and which mesh is better?

I can't fin them by googling, and the links to their portal don't work, and in their shop it isn't.

For Europe, Ultimate Terrain Europe...I had it a while ago and enjoyed flying in Europe with the 3D road lights and all...Heck, the roads were so detailed, I found my street in Rome, Italy... Wink

Really?! Wow, that'd be great, but what about combining it with my FSG Mesh??

Have a look at the Ultimate Terrain website at http://www.scenerysolutions.com/UT.html and at http://66.135.39.111/ultterrain/Patch/UTEPatch.htm for patches that make UT-Europe compatible...If you don't find a relevant add-on, best to ask at the UT-Forums located at http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_topics.asp?FID=19

Cheers,
Ashar Wink
