1. Overall well composed but the aircraft seems blurred and lacks detail and doesn't make the edit very interesting

2. Very good. Lighting is near perfect yet there is no reflection of the aircraft in the water when it seem that it is flying low enough for it to be seen. Also the aircraft doesn't seem to have been cut out perfectly and the glass canopy is too dark.

3. Same as the first really. And to question why is an aircraft obviously on final approach with gear down heading straight towards a huge city... It doesn't seem very well planned out...

Not too sure on the blurring in 1 and 3...

2 is nice, but I think you chose the wrong plane for the picture...

mind sending me the background of 2 to see what I could do with it Wink

Final approach into KJFK on one of its runways would put you right over lower Manhattan. I guess I just executed it wrong.

I'm trying to find the background picture, but I'm having trouble. All I know is that it came from www.flickr.com

I honestly have no idea how to make an aircraft reflection in the water. Are there any tutorials?

An easy method is to copy the plane, invert it vertically and place it where the reflection would be (look at other reflections in the photo)

Then hand blur it a bit to make it look like water Wink

nice job!! i agree with the blur being a little bit strong in #1, and the plane in #3 doesn't look like he's going to make it over the buildings. but that can easily be fixed by making the plane cmaller and moving it up a little bit.

nice overall though!!  Grin

I don't think there should be a reflection in #2, if you look at the angle the light would have to bounce off the water to hit the camera, you can see that the reflection would be off the screen/picture.

I agree with the above Smiley but i would like to see a bit of water flicking or being distorted by the engines. Smiley

The first one looks all dark, the second one doesn't look real and the third one looks like a cartoon.
