It’s Judge’s Choice Mab_08!!!
After last week’s DC-3 competition Mab feels it’s time for another old bird to be honored……
The Lockheed Constellation!!!
Mab says:
The Lockheed Constellation is an easily recognised bird that revolutionised air travel. Now bring me your best shots of this iconic aircraft. Any version of the Connie can be used as along as she’s up in the air where she belongs. Good luck!"
THIS WEEK'S RULES
1. Any version of Connie, in flight.
2. There can be payware or freeware in the shots, FS any version. Editing is allowed but no composites, as only a few people can do them and it's hard to compete with a composite!
3. You nominate one shot only, as a thumbnail of about 5 kb. IT CAN BE AN OLD SHOT if you don’t have time to create something especially for the comp, though original entries are encouraged…. Post it in this thread, below.
This competition is going to last for a week, with the deadline for entries being 8PM on Saturday 1st September
The judge will choose which shot is best and tell KRIGL on Saturday or Sunday…
DEADLINE FOR JUDGE TO INFORM
KRIGL
: 8 PM GMT SUNDAY
The winner will be announced Sunday evening.
THE WINNER IS THE NEXT JUDGE!!!
The shot also goes into your personal portfolio
4. The winner should decide on the next competition, and, by MONDAY NIGHT 8:00 GMT, send KRIGL 3 or 4 pictures connected to the competition plus a short text to describe the competition and what they are looking for..
We will start the new competition on Monday night, so people have 5 evenings to produce their entries.
5. This is for fun, so just post whatever seems to you to fit the rules. In the spirit of StudioV, we're all aviation and aviation screenie fans, and friends, and so just about everything goes. Rules are secondary, and no questions needed.
It might be an idea to check out our Judge's work, see what he likes....
TWO 'IMPORTANT' NOTES
A. The main point is that you get to be the judge – but the winning shot will also extend your portfolio!
B. If people don’t meet the dead-lines, don’t be surprised if KRIGL makes the choices or even the competition for you. Studio V must ‘run on time’…. Sorry to be evil about this but it’s for the greater good.
The Connie is famed for her beauty, and for engine-failures….. what can you do with her?

It's a great freeware model (can't remember who it's by - Mike Stone did one but there's another one by a dedicated team - look it up/ask around) and you probably won't regret the download if you're a freeware gourmet

Heres My entry. I run out of this months bandwidth on my internet so i had to download a low sized connie..
This is the best i could find.. other wise i would of used the FSDzigns one.
