I am desperately looking for some "genuine" and "realistic" sounds for the B-36 Bomber - I have searched and downloaded lots but the best I have heard so far are the sounds for an fs2002 B-36 but cannot get it to work in FS2004 - I really need to hear that special growl the B-36 has !
See link below for what I mean

it does have a rather nice sound!
AlphaSim has a payware b-36. I'll search for sounds after dinner.

Quote:
FS2002/CFS2/FS2004 Convair B-36 Sounds The deep rumble of the six Pratt & Whitney R-4360 Wasp Majors and the roar of four GE J47-GE-19 jets are blended together (and heard) for the B-36 versions D, F, H, and J. And included is a sound.cfg file without jets for the B-36 versions A and B. Original sound by Steve Butzer. Modifications with jet sounds by Gary Morrow. 3.4MB
The Simv Sound page page is very long!
