NickN, you tag yourself as ex-member.
If you are truly an ex-member of this forum, then I will soon be as well.
It is you, miltestpilot, Bjorn and a few others that make this one of the most valuable FSX forums on the web.
Please stay.

Bumping this. Wondering if his mentioning of "new" ATI card in a thread got him in hot water?

Too Old To Fly Anymore

I am still here. With the others there were different reasons about those moves. I would not get all uptight over it. As far as I know it had nothing to do with ATI and I do not think any smart arse comments about 'just leave' are needed either. That’s the kind of juvenile remark stuff that starts trouble, not solve anything.
I think Nick had some things in the real world he needed to deal with and he did spend last weekend here at my house building a new tower for me and showing me the ropes so as I learn more about how Intel works and how FSX responds to it, I will post it.

I wasn't upset, just curious as Nick has been much more insightful in providing info on how to tweak FSX than any of the "expert" tweakers on the various flight sim forums that I check in on. The ex-member tag was what made me think that he may have 'violated' a NDA by the mere mentioning of a new, not on market yet ATI card (speculation on my part, of course). Hoping that Nick will post soon with new tweaks and much thanks to him for the help in getting FSX to run better on my comp.
