CFS2 or CFS3? which is better? (Read 457 times)

hmm, my friend and i are wanting a combat flight simulator... now, ive read on places such as amazon that CFS3 isnt really very good and that CFS2 is much better

what is your take on this? which do you prefer and why?

-sorry if this is the wrong forum, seemed wrong to put in either CFS3 or CFS2 subforum so i placed it here in the middle of them

Well if you want good graphics, very nice effects, and cool planes, go for CFS3.

But if you want a less graphics-intense sim that wont crash as much, with lots more addons, then go for CFS2.

They're cheap as chips now, anyways. I bought CFS2 for £20 and CFS3 for £30, years back, and as far as I know they can be bought for less than £10 each nowadays.

CFS2 is about £5 and CFS3 is about £17 from amazon

so is that the big deal? just graphics and addons?

but surely there will be more addons to come, and a 8600GTS wont be too bad with the game will it?
