Ive had the same problem too, but have slowly practiced my way out of it (i.e. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE, in the 172 until you get it).  My problem was that I overcompensated.  Id come in too low or too high, and then end up in the opposite predicament.  What the lessons taught me (you should read and attempt them-I know they are screwy, but it will help you) is that once you are within reasonable distance of the runway, even if you are low according to the VASI or PAPI (which if you don't know what they are/how to use them-you definately need the lessons).  Descend slowly, ie around 300 FPM (in the 172).  Control your descent with the throttle and use the elevators as needed.  Once you hit the glideslope based on the PAPI, the VASI or ILS, increase your rate of descent to 500 FPM.  If you get to high, increase your rate of descent to lower you back down.  Follow the VASI, PAPI, or ILS in.  THeyare the only thing you need to watch, not the runway.  Follow them and you wil be right over the threshold for landing.  If your flaring technique needs help, check out hte lessons as well.

One of the neat things about FSX, is the the multi-player allows for sharing an airplane. Two people can be in the same plane and even take turns controlling it. It's a great way to demonstrate this stuff, first hand. See it done and then attempt it, with an "instructor" right there with you..

Sure..  Do you have TeamSpeak running on your computer ?

I keep a teamspeak server running for this stuff. The voice that comes with multi-player isn't very good, so we disable it.

Go here  http://www.goteamspeak.com/index.php?page=downloads ; and get the 'TeamSpeak 2 Client'

Then set it up per these instructions http://www.westcoastatc.com/TeamSpeak.shtml?Submit4=Read

And we'll go from there.

I think and correct me guys if Im wrong ,Landing its the most dificult procedure in aviation...am I right??

Actually landing is dead easy. Just turn off the engine and you'll land for sure eventually. It's landing in one piece that's difficult. Or maybe I should say landing in two pieces, you and the airplane. When you merge with the airplane it's a bad thing.  Grin

Keep going, accept help from anywhere (Not me, I couldn't teach a monkey to climb a tree).

When you make that landing and you touch down gently, its a great feeling.
