Cancelled according to the bbc website:
Quote:
Air show cancelled after flooding
The second day of the RAF Waddington International Air Show has been cancelled, organisers have confirmed.
They said the decision was taken because of flooding of the site - and has nothing to do with the heightened security situation across the country.
The show is the largest staged by the RAF and tens of thousands of people were expected to attend.
Officials at the airfield said they knew people would be disappointed but public safety was the priority.

They cancelled just as we arrived. The official reason is "flooding" (although the airfield was open for flying and several thousand spectators were already parked). Interesting to note it was cancelled by the Lincolnshire Chief Constable...
I suspect we all know the real reason - a public event attended by tens of thousands of people on a military base with million of $'s of hardware on display - all with public
vehice
access...

To be fair, most of the accounts of enthusiasts who actually got onto the airfield describe it as being a bit of a mess. They don't doubt the fact that it was cancelled due to the rain/flooding.
I'm just glad I managed to make it yesterday.
