It doesn't seem to be much of a complaining, but rather more of a suddle discussion of which site has certain download speeds.

Who cares? They have a right to their own opinion.
30kb/s is slow, but I'll just have to accept that. Or download from somewhere else...

As far as I'm concerned, if it's free, then the download speed is never an issue. It's not like I'm tied to my PC desk - I have other things I can be getting on with (like life) whilst I'm downloading a large file.

The speed is good enough for me try going back to the 80's i was on a 12k modem on compuserve at $12 per hour a picture would take half an hour its funny how we forget how slow it used to be try loading a game by tape on a commodore 64 and you will know what slow is.

I think I am a member over there. The site is so lame. I signed-up, visited about once and have never been back. If I recall, I had navigation troubles over there. Finding anything is a pain in the clinton and I prefer the way it's done here, anyway. They should just shut their pieholes and learn to live with about whatever it is they are complaining.
emachines T6212; AMD Athlon64 3800+ (2.40 GHz; Venice core); Allied AL-B500E 500W power supply; 2048Mb PC3200 DDR400; Westinghouse LCM-22w2 wide-screen LCD monitor; eVGA e-GeForce 7900 GS KO X16 PCIe video card; Logitech Extreme 3D Pro flight controller;&&Cyber Acoustics CA-4100 4-channel digital sound with 5 speakers; 300 Gb external hard drive in an enclosure; Windows XP Home; 3 Mb/s AT&T/Yahoo! It's not really lame at all once you get to know the guys over there. I am also a regular member at FSW and I have spent enough time over there to learn that there are people over there that are nice to chat with. Of course, the level of friendship and methods of navigation over at FSW pales in comparison to what I see here; but that's no excuse to call them all lame.
Like I said before in my last post, they're not really complaining. They're just pointing out the download speeds of multiple websites [notice that AvSim is also involved].
Cheers,

1st: Please don't bash other sites with the exception of FSPlanet who sucks beyond measure and is nothing but a bunch of thieves anyway.
2nd: It didn't seem so much like complaining to me. Just a mention of what the speeds were...
3rd: This really should be in the Site Feedback forum, so if'n you don't mind, I'll just pop it over there...

For some reason i could never download from flightsim.com, i suppose i should look into it again, must have been doing something wrong, though it did tell me the download slots were full or something along those lines.

I don't see why they should complain there is nothing wrong with a bit of healthy compotion.
Which I think SimV has already won.
