Boot your machine in safe mode and then run your anti-virus software Wink

I would start with a complete virus scan, make sure its definitions are up to date!
If it won't allow you to update, then make certain you are disconnected from the internet, physically unplug your connection if need be to be certain.

Shut down system restore, if it is a virus good chance it will remain in system restore, virus scanners don't scan restore points.

once that is done do a complete scan.

Also run some spyware software that is up to date as well. Spybot Search and Destroy and AdAware are good starting spots.

If you had to scan without the ability to update your virus definitions then connect back online and try to update after your initial scans, once updated repeat the scans again.

if u need to shut down properly, try this:

Start->Run
Type in 'cmd', the click 'Run'.
Type in 'shudown -s', then press enter.

This'll start a different shutdown sequence, which might not be affected by this virus (but probably will).

...&&FS Water Configurator+ has new modifications in the works, plus DirectX 10, Service Pack&&1, and Radeon HD 3+ Series support.

Most viruses work from memory, simply shutting off the computer will kill many. Not a reboot, but a complete power down, heck unplug it from the wall if need be  Grin
