Does anyone know if Adobe Photoshop Elements 4 for Windows, (the cheap one) works with Windows Vista? I've done an internet search on the subject and cannot find anything conclusive.

My sister's new laptop won't run Microsoft Picture it! 2002 and she'd rather spend £12 than £50 odd for the latest version - she's a student. (As way of an explanation)  Wink

No replies in 10 days - I assume not then.

Alright, try this question then. How many individual computers can you install Photoshop Elements 5 on (I know that supports vista) and can anyone reccomend it?

Well not the answer your looking for but I gave up with Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro since there are freeware programs that can do the same without the cost Wink

Check out Gimp and Paint.net

Thanks for the reply - anything must be good.  Smiley

I've installed Paint.net and it seems to do just the ticket. Brilliant piece of freeware. Thanks a lot.
I'm just starting to get to grips with it now...

If anyone else trys it beware that the Microsoft .Net framework v3 takes about an hour(!) to install, so set aside pleanty of time.
