I have a 1.5mbit DSL connections and for some strange reason one computer will only download at 30kb/s, while my machine will download things full speed....... At 150kb/s...? Why? Why does my PC download faster than the other computer which is connected through the same router?

Virus?

Thanks....

There may be a setting in the router only allowing other connections so much bandwith. Used in some server environments so Mr Joe Schmoe dosent go download 1 GB files at 700 KB/s and take up a large chunk of bandwith that is needed elsewhere.

What OS are you using? Are you only d/l at 30Kb/s at Simv, or all other sites too?
