hmm... you are getting better and its obvious that you are finaly takeing on board everyones advice Smiley which will please alot of people... however!

as you said compression was a b1tch to it.
did you try and sharpen the plane at all, or the back ground???

next time, use a background that doesnt have so many complex colours in it and compression will not as big of an issue

at the moments thats all i shall recoment Smiley

Liked the plane and airport at the same time Grin. Arent composites so nice Grin

for donut John uk: Ill try to get a simpler background next time around Smiley I didnt try to sharpen the plane or backround because when I started the edit, it didnt seem like they would need sharpening... then compression took its toll Cry

You're showing great improvement, Nick. I like that.  Smiley

I'm not sure what went wrong with the compression... it just shouldn't be this compressed.  Undecided

When working on the pic, did you keep saving it in .bmp format?

Sharpening the pic will not counter the compression. In fact, it will only make it worse, because compression is best visible in areas with high contrasts and that is exactly what sharpening does (increasing the contrast).

I hope the next one turns out better, compression-wise.

Keep 'em coming!  Wink
