I'm having real trouble with AI planes, so far the only one I downloaded that worked was the Tristar, I need help with downloading AI planes and getting them to work. Also, can you make planes you download into AI planes?

Exactly what problems do you have with the AI planes you say don't work?

Every plane can be used as an AI, though using a flyable one will take a lot out of your system. Flyable planes are after all a lot more detailed than their AI counterpart, and weigh much more on the videocard.

I've downloaded a whole bunch of AI packs from SIMV actually, none of them worked.

How do I make a flyable into AI? I have an insane video card and it should take it if I can run FSX on max settings perfectly.

AI packs are different from AI planes. Are you sure you followed the installing instruction to the letter?

Try eventually AI packages from another source, if the ones you installed seems not to work (but always be attentive not to install two times the same airline, hairy things may happen if you do Wink)

You didn't write which packages you installed, so use Google to track either or both Project AI's and World of AI's homepages (Google takes on their pages immediately, no need for me to append URL's). They're freeware. Smiley

To learn how to define your own AI traffic, and eventually use in it even a flyable plane, download TTools here (it's the first on the top) and READ AND LEARN the readme. It's very clear and complete, though long and not particularly simple to put in use. But if I of all people learned how to do it, then everyone can. Cheesy

I warned you. If you use a flyable and your frame rate drop to nil, I wont take responsibility. Tongue

Thank you very much for those links!!! I was having trouble finding the AI I wanted and they are all nice and neet in the World of AI library. I have downloaded all of the USA packages and cannot wait to get home, load them and check out my airports. Cheesy

Has anyone tried these in FSX? Do they work just fine. I know it says that it is FSX compatible, but as we all know, FSX compatible does not mean that it functions and acts correctly in FSX.

Again, thanks!!!

FSX is installed on my system only to amuse my nephew, so he doesn't go stampeding on FS9 or any other usable simulators. Under it I haven't installed any add-on and not plan to either any time soon. Sorry. Cool

OK, I went on last night and installed every World of AI USA package they had. It worked great and looks really good. I fully expected it to bog my PC down too, but it didn't affect me at all. Stoked!!! Smiley
