HRH is in the county today to visit RAF Shawbury, celebrating 10 years of the DHFS at the base.

They had the Squirrels up last night, practising a 12 ship formation.....if I see them today I'll try to get a pic

Grin When I saw them last night I thought they were stationary for a while.......which on reflection would probably be even more challenging  Shocked

Unfortunately they didn't show for me today, and Mrs OTU had the car, so I couldn't slope off under the cover of voicemail and sneak some shots.....oh well  Roll Eyes

It's a real shame that there doesn't seem to be much notification of these sorts of events. For instance, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the Jag's didn't go to Shawbury for storage, like the SHAR, however there seems to be very little advance notice of these possibilities, so unless you are standing outside on the day you don't get a chance to go along. Any tips anyone?
