Well, it's that time of the year!! Grin
Here is a quick list of air shows that will be in the New Jersey and Pennsylvania area.
I'll be going to three out of four of them, how about anyone else??

May 12th & 13th: McGuire AFB 2007 Airshow

I definitely plan on attending Reading. I'd like to get down to Millville, since I haven't been there since '03. I've never even been to McGuire, so that's a maybe. The AC show is way to far in advance to even give a guess. Tongue

I will definitely be at AC, if my parents don't want to go this year, I'll just drive myself down. The others I'm not so sure of. Being a junior in high school it's time to start looking at colleges, and weekends in May seem to be a prime time for open houses and the like. Maybe I can convince my dad to take me to McGuire since I'm going AFROTC in college, hopefully Rutgers New Brunswick, and plan on working my ass off so my CO will nominate me for one of the Navigator slots.

EDIT Bah, system filters as... out. Not like the kids haven't heard the word before...

At least AC should be bearable this year. Since we don't have the Blue Angels the beach won't be completely packed. I liked last year's show, but I think the 05 show was better because you could get better seats and had more than a postage stamp of beach to claim as your own.

I would love to go to Airventure but, can't this year!! Sad

Rotty and I had a nice piece of real estate at AC last year but, then we were nowhere near the seats where you were but still a great location and a great view of the show!! Smiley  My only complaint about AC is the Sun's location sucks!!  I wonder if the can move it behind us this year!! Grin

LOL! We need to have an afternoon/evening show so the sun is at our backs. I wanted to get a nice piece of beach for the show last year, but for some reason my mother didn't want to get there at 8:00...

McGuire AFB just updated the web site.  The line-up is getting better!!

Here are some of the aircraft that will be there.
A-10, B-1, B-52, C-5, C-17, C-130, CV-22, E-2C, F-15C, F-15C, F-22, F/A-18,
HC-130, KC-10, KC-135, V-22, B-17, B-25, C-9, C-45, C-47, C-54, P-40, P-51,
AN-2, TBM, F-4 and a whole lot more!! Smiley

Also Patty Wagstaff will be there.  I never seen her perform live and I'm looking forward to that!!

I think I'm gonna make my dad take me now! If the -22 display is anything like the one at AC last year, the hell of getting on base will be worth it, not to mention the V-22, and Wagstaff. Plus, my dad, whose father served in the AAF during WWII, would like the B-17, B-25, P-40, and P-51, plus the plane of his generation, the F-4.

My best friend's dad flew -135's out of McGuire. He says if I go, he'll get me into restricted areas.

So watch for me pointing and laughing at you all. Grin

From what I can tell, yes they will be there both days!!

  Now I just ran into a problem for the Mcguire show, Mother's day is Sunday the 13th.
I have to see if I can make it on Saturday.  It's going to be tough!!
