The late, great Stevie Ray Vaughan

There are some artists (actors, musicians) whose passing seems to affect us more than we'd like. You know that  truly disturbing feeling of loss you get that seems to stay with you for years when certain artists pass. Losing Stevie Ray absolutely floored me and still does to this day. That enormous, troubled talent lost forever.....so who's passing really got to you? Post a pic if you like..
A bit of a morbid topic, but also a celebration of artists who's time ran out prematurely..

We have lost so many talented artists before their time but the one that most affected me was Buddy Holly - killed in that plane crash on February 3, 1959. I was 16 at the time & could not believe the newspaper headlines. My hero was dead. Cry

Clip, you should listen to Doyle Bramhall.  He was a major influence for the young Stevie Ray, even spending a lot of time at his house.  It's easy to see where Stevie got his licks from...  Wink
