Coincidences of life: I was just reading about how the Valkyrie XB-70 program was canceled because of that. Grin

Can't help you there, and I believe that's still under military secret or something (you know how military types are). Smiley

The book "Operation Overflight" is a good read about the U-2 program and Powers' flight.

The B-70 program was canceled because it overflew Russia?? Shocked  I did not know that! I thought it was dumped because 1) it was costing a fortune and 2) one was lost because it was hit by a chase plane and one or more pilots were killed in the crash.
