It's a cool edit of a great shot and certainly adds depth and realism as you intended. Very nice!

On looking closer, one can see the only imperfection (IMHO) which is that you blurred the rope along with the background when it should have stayed as sharp as when it was over the plane. Also, on each side of the fence post there's a kind of 'Bermuda triangle' of slightly whiter sky, and white on the trees (probably from the original scenery). You could have cloned or something to remove the  white from the trees, and via more careful selection you would have avoided the other problem....just my opinion Smiley

Hope this is helpful!

I'm posting a new set of composite edits in 'edited' soon. Please feel free to visit and let me know what you think, as I'm not very good yet and welcome all tips....

Cheers

well said, my points exactly (i spoke to mees the other day about this shot and said just that)

its a realy good idea, and its a good start to a tough effect to do properly on such a complex shot because you have more than the plane in the forground. you need to be careful what elements you blur and what you keep sharp. with the triangles on the fence post a simple cutout useing polygon lasso would be fine.

good attempt and keep trying Cheesy
