Just blagged this off the BBC. Anyone have any more info?
An aircraft thought to be a small business jet has crashed at Moscow's Vnukovo airport, Russian officials say.
The plane, which was reported to be carrying crew but no passengers, is said to have crashed on take-off at about 1650 local time (1350 GMT).
It was heading from Moscow to Berlin. Early reports suggest three crew members were injured.
BBC reporters say there is a heavy snow storm in Moscow. No official statement has been given on the crash's cause.
The airport director told the BBC the aircraft had requested an emergency landing immediately after take-off but could not stop on the runway.
The airport has reportedly been closed to further flights.
Russia's Emergency Situations Ministry has confirmed the plane was a small business jet.
Initial reports suggested the aircraft involved was an Airbus A310.
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!
