Whaddya got?  Nvidia or ATI.  For ATI, just right click on desktop and choose 'Catalyst Control Center.'  Choose 3d Settings and then up the Anti-Aliasing.   

I wish I had done it sooner, I bumped it from 2x to 6x without much of a fps hit.

Not sure if this will help, I have an older Nvidea card, here's what I do. It all originates from the video card menu (see tiny green icon bottom right corner of my screenshot..just to the left of the clock) If you don't have the small green icon, you've got to find the menu for your card first..That's the menu for vidcard. If you have it, right click then...
