The PILOT'S PERSPECTIVE COMPETITION!!!!!! - another one that got forgotten with the Studio V revamp. And what a shame, because people really pulled out the stops for this one, not a dud among them.

Clipper's asked me to choose a winner for this, as the results of the poll back in 1965 were so close....

Well, as I've been given the honour of choosing, I won't keep you in suspense any longer Wink

Some very strong entries fielded, particularly Immelman's, RidgeRunner's and Eno's but it came down to two for me - thebrelon's dynamic front-on barnstormer, and Soui's vertiginous effort.... very hard to choose from them all, but someone has to be the winner, and it's...

Soui's stomach-heaving "Amsterdarned"!!!

I like it, because it really shows off the great visibility from the F-16s bubble cockpit and makes you feel like you're in there with the pilot... although a bit dark, it's a masterful effort.

Congratulations Soui, on winning a place in the gallery for your stunning shot!

In future we'll be more efficient with the Comp results, I promise!
