Grin So yeah... here is my Concept for the Cleigh Avionics 'Fusion'  Basically one giant scram with a seat mounted to it, capable of Mach2.5- Mach3.  Can any conclusion be drawn about why my port-side features look like they do?  And would anybody like to take this and make it a decent model with animations and what not?

Here are some pictures.

What a weird design . . . the reason your parts look inside-out is because you used the mirror button in the top-right corner of the gmax window.  You should always use the Mirror modifier in the dropdown menu that has all the other modifiers in it like Skew, Twist, Taper, etc.

The design is certainly weird, but not new.

The French designer René Leduc experimented such a design in the 1950-ies. He was more original than you, because he used statoreactors instead of jets ! Search for "Leduc O22" on the Web.

I dropped the Ski/skids for something else... evolution of this idea:

...

There is another stage but at the time being, I have no shots... I "borrowed" the cockpit, appendiges and gears from the F-5A but remained with the Ram/Scram jet fuselage.  Grin

P.S. That other thing is butt ugly in a beautiful, speedy way.  Grin
