Welcome to the Weekly Hotshot, with this weeks chilly hotshot!
This is AlonsoX's image from his
It's freezing in Europe...
thread.
In this picture, you can see what difference a good scenery can do!
The details from the airport (The lights, the trees, the fields next to the airport) does a great thing to lift the picture, but the angle and view is also important!
By putting the aircraft out of the center, we get the feeling that the aircraft isn't the main star, it's the airport!
And we also get the feeling of speed, that the aircraft is roaring out of the picture, at high speed.
And the foggy weather also let us feel the chill, and Easyjets orange colour is a great contrast to the dull colours of the airport.
And that's why I decided that this shot should be this weeks hotshot!
Tune in next Saturday for a new exciting Hotshot!

Very interesting study in contrasting but complimentary colors. The orange cuts through that grey background like a knife, yet to-gether they create a fantastic visual harmony. Wonderful choice Theis, well presented and congrats of course for a great shot Alonso. Most worthy of being this week's "Hotshot".
