I had some time to kill today, so I went out to Port Columbus, scanner in hand, for some plane-spotting. Rounding the terminal to the plane spotting are, I saw the big, beautiful, swept tail.. It was a 727  Smiley   Not rare for sure, but not very common either.

When I got to a point where I could really see it.. I saw what looked like vintage Pan Am paint. NO CAMERA  Angry

Anyway.. I just got done researching it. Turns out it belongs to Boston-Maine Airways. Then I checked FlightAware to see where it came from, and where it went. Didn't "look" like a charter fligh, but it could have been. I'm hoping that BMA has started scheduled service to Columbus. If so.. I'll be out there for a photo.

Boston-Marine Airways fly into KTTN Trenton-Mercer Airport.  Here is a shot I took of a Jetstream 3101 in the Pan Am colors named Clipper Freedom.  Whats interesting about the name and the registration number is that both were used on a Pam Am 747SP-21 from 1979 to 1985.
