Hi all

I'm working in the plane of my thesis as Aeronautic Engineer, the external model is semi-done however how this is the first time than i make the flight dynamics (and is working very well Grin) i have 2 problems so far.

...

1. When i'm at the runway and i have the parking brake on the plane begun to shake out of control and in some moment she begun to jump since one place to other at some meters  Shocked

2. Even if i cut the throttle she have enought power to start to move and take off   Huh

How can i fix this problems?????

Please, Please Help

Thanks for all

BOUNCING BETTY RETURNS!

The first issue is to check your contact points - AND how stiff you've set the "springs".... make them stiffer.  It may be that the contacts points aren't resting the complete static weight of the aircraft....

Hi Felix

I check the springs but everything is inside the common  Huh

Nose Gear

...

Main Gear

...

I check all the possible combinations, even I put the static compression, compression ratio and dumping ratio since 0 to 10 but is not enough Cry Cry Cry Cry

I dont know what else i can do  Undecided Undecided Undecided

i want my mom  Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

Try increasing the moment of inertia figures in the aircraft.cfg - jumping around on the ground can happen if they are set too low.

Also, try decreasing the thrust value in the [TurbineEngineData] section to see if that affects your over-powered situation.

Hi buddy

Do you know how the FSEdit calculated the moments???? with Aircraft Container Manager i get one value but with FSEdit i get another with the same values  Huh

With the engine, i put the exactly values of the pt6-25c  Huh,

i'll follow your recomendations and i'll told you the results

Best Regards

The problem of the engine can be fix changing the static thrust since 2396 pounds to around 100 pounds, but in my thesis i get the value of 2396  Huh Huh Huh Huh

Also i can fix the problem of the jump changing the values of the moments of inertia, i have

4004
1643
4101
0

i found this values with Aircraft Container Manager, however if i changed them as you say to a values around 15000 the problem on the ground disappear but when i'm flying the plane tend to skid like the sukhoi at the cobra with the tail in front   Undecided Undecided Cry Cry Cry

I dont know what else do  Cry Cry Cry

This is my thesis, The Dragon

Phew - just got back from a real-world transatlantic round trip in a couple of 777s!

I abandoned FSEdit back in my FS2002 days - one of the worst pieces of add-on FS software IMHO.

Try reducing the empty_weight_yaw_MOI figure to stop the skidding effect you mention. Reduce it gradually back to its original value and see when the problem stops.
