fs9 planes in fsx (Read 302 times)

I noticed in the fsx aircraft download section it ses most late 2004 planes will go in,
I started this post for directions in the right way to do this. so please explane thank you

Installing aircraft to FSX is much the same as for other versions of FS. The main difference is that there is no Aircraft folder & the new aircraft go into the FSX\SimObjects\airplanes folder. Gauges can either be pasted into FSX\Gauges or the Panel folders of the aircraft they belong to. 

Easiest way is to try a few & report back if you have problems. Don't extract zipfiles direct to FSX. It's best to install the files manually being careful not to overwrite default files. It's quite possible some of the gauges will be incompatible.

Thank  you Hagar I saw your other post on how to install aircraft thank you it works. I though it would be the same installing aircraft into FSX as FS2004, but it was way different. Just a little bit the same.
