I can't get the engines to shut down on the Leajet or the CRJ700 once parked. Is there a universal "Shut down engines key".
I've trawled though my panels and I can't get them to turn off.

There doesn't appear to be a way to force the fuel cutoff in the default
Lear without resorting to keyboard cammands. A serious shortcoming
in Aces design and testing, IMO.
This also goes for the starting from cold and dark. In many cases, you
cnnot start the default aircraft or those imported from FS9 using the
actual "start" controls on the panels. It seems that ACES never tried
this or they might not have shipped a product with such flaws.
If you save a flight with all systems "off", then you will most likely
have to resort to using "CTL+E" to start the engines. As someone pointed
out in another forum, apparently the fuel valves are not open in this
situation and most aircraft do not offer you the ability to change this,
thus you have to use "autostart" which does open the fuel valves.
In my case, I have added or modified gauges to take this into consideration
so that I need not use "autostart".
One experiment is to try starting the Beach Baron or Grumman Goose
from cold & dark with the start mechanisms provided. Once you give up
and use "autostart", then shut them down and re-try starting using the
mechanisms provided. Now there WILL start, but only after the "autostart"
has been executed.

Edit: Just noticed over at Avsim, there is a Lear45 Checklist available now for the FSX Lear
and sure enough, it shows that you need to use CTL+SHIFT+F4 to open the fuel valves
and then CTL+SHIFT+F1 to cutoff fuel for shutdown.
