while, i've got this one person ( i will not be naming him/her) who just got a new job as a receptionist at a real estate firm. the job description specifically states that no computer skills are needed. this is not the case. i had to teach this person to use the taskbar and how to close a window. this person is 43 years old. anyone got any tips for good ways to learn the basics of windows, especily office, in less than a month. if more, i fear this person will be fired, which would also be VERY bad for me! please help! efl is begging you  Cry

There are many good books available at your local bookstore that cover the Office package and Windows may want to check them out. The "Dummies" series has a couple good ones for beginners.
Also look at the local schools. Most Community Colleges teach classes pertaining to this.
I just took a required class for my degree that focused only on the Office package and let me tell you I had no clue how powerful that software is, it isn't only for writing letters lol.
I am signing my mother up for this class, she has some basic pc knowledge but this will make her proficient in all aspects.

You should be able to also find some tutorials online that may help some.
