nah, well not when you can ake them look like this.

I used to think that to have an awsome screenshot you had to hav a very well shown aircraft in play, nott anymore.

This isnt necesarily a gallery proposition but this is a perfect example of what you can do with a screenshot without even having an aircraft in the picture

Dave's (A.K.A. Fly2E) shot from his thread "alaska exposed prt 2".

It's a beautiful, serene shot! Maybe a scenery only comp at Studio V might be an idea after the ugly ducklings.....

If you're bored of an evening - and you'll have to be - you can check out my screenshot gallery: Kriglsflightsimscreens...HERE

I think this is very good here, in StudioV, as it is a great inspiration of what you can do !

Everybody is able to produce such a shot, you just have to do it in the right place at the right time, with some good looking scenery and textures ! Dave for example is a master of that, he often gets such situations, and he really has the hang of his FS !

I agree with both of you. Screenshots aren't all about the aircraft, after all, screenshooting is an art, and that's one fine example image that Lilley posted - good job Dave 8)
A competition under this idea would be excellent - really pushing screenartists to find that perfect image. Smiley

Just a hint, our next Judges Choice is in the works and the judge has selected a topic that definately fits into this style of screenart. Can't say much more, hopefully he'll have it up by this week-end...someone we all know and admire....btw, the Wars entries should be up to-night. Sorry for the delay but it's a result of waiting for last second entries filtering in. Some unbelievable shots....seriously....hang in, I'll get them up a.s.a.p.  Smiley
