This will be an excercise in turning water into wine. I'll select an aircraft that best represents the least possible visual appeal along with the link to d-load it. It'll be your mission, should you choose to accept it, to somehow take a screenshot that makes this ugly duckling look great. Any scenery or scenario, but the entire aircraft has to be visible in the screenshot. Should be an interesting excercise in lighting techniques, masking visual imperfections or weaknesses and creating something artistic from limited resources. I'm searching the net for the the most suitable (im)perfect aircraft candidate but if you know of one, suggest it here.

Here's a couple of dogs i've been considering..

...
note the mini satellite dish on the tail...85 channels!

Kiss my grill handsome...

Could be a lot of fun. So if you know of any of these mangy beasts lurking around the V, let us know. I'll post the main thread for this week-end if there's interest.. Smiley

Depends if you mean bad models, or ugly planes....

Bad models might offend the creators  Wink

Ugly planes abound - most of them great models -

eg.
Carvair
Beverly
Argosy

Wait a mo - these are all British.... Shocked

er....Noratlas, any crop sprayer... there are many more I'm sure. Nice idea Clip, I'll give it a try if you open it up.

Yes K, ugly, not poorly crafted models is what we're after. You're right about not wanting to offend the creators of any models, as each design does have its own merits as well as deficiencies. Good point.

Good idea -  we could vote on the ugliest, and then everyone who fancies it can try to make it look nice  Smiley
