How to set up FSHost? (Read 251 times)

Hi Yall

I know this is an old question, but I need to ask it anyways. I'm setting up FSHost. It seams to be working ok, but this is what I'm getting when FSHost is firs stated up>>

061113 09:12:58 Master Server registration aborted. The Master Server attempted to
verify your server by requesting a web page from it, but was not able to connect to your
IP address < 69.108.160.128 > on port 23456. If you have a router or firewall, please change
it to allow port 23456 to be forwarded to your machine. For help, see the FAQ page under
the Help menu. Also, please verify your IP address on the Options / Master Server window.
FSHostSpy will not be able to show your server.

FSHost seams to be running fine all players are able to connect just fine, but cant connect with FSNav. Is there any thing that I cuold read on getting FSHost set up and working right?

EDIT: but pretty much what the error message is saying if you need to forward the port 23456 on your router/firewall so FSHostSpy can see your session

Hi.

I'm having a new problams. I am on a network I have sbcglobol DSL. I' got FSHost up and running fine, but when I try to connect to the FShost sever form my computer it will let me join for about 60 sec. and then kicks me off. At that poine I cant get back on the server. I get concetion failed/no response message. All other player can connect just fine.
