Hi Alrot..

As far as the tool-bar at the top.. just hold down the "Alt"  key..  and the bar will vanish..

I don't know about the compas.. unless you want it to not be there..  Go into "Settings - General" and at the bottom left there's a check box for displaying compass and pointer (during missions).. just un-check that..

Edit: ..  Oh.. I just saw where you WANT it to be there. I don't think that's an option.. but you CAN bring up the normal compass and then move or re-size it, by hitting "shift+5".

It migh be shift+ another number.. depending on the plane..

I think the compass is only for missions, but I could be wrong...

I think you are right sir... I cant remember it has been so long. I just booted FSX for the first time in a month and cant seem to find it either

...

Edit: By the way Alrot.. your screenshots are excellent... much clearer and sharper than mine... nice image even with the edits!

Another way to turn off the compass in missions is to right click on it and click "close window". When you cycle thru' your views it will turn back on again.

I don't think you can have that compass on when not in missions at the moment, but i'm sure someone will find a way.

sir Martin

Hey Alrot,

Are you looking to change the view distance from the aircraft?

If so try Ctrl + (+)or(-).

Hope this helps.
