Please take note that no further Gallery submissions will be accepted at the Studio until December 1, 2006.
I think it's time to re-focus our (our meaning everyone who is genuinely interested in developing and contributing to the true meaning and focus of the Studio)
energy, input and direction. It's essential that the Studio offer not only a platform to display our finest screenart but AS WELL remain a place to "help everyone develop, discuss and learn how to improve their screenshots." I'm working very hard with Soui, Jake, Cspyro and other concerned members on getting our Studio back on course. Suggestions, ideas or threads with content relevant to our Studio's focus are most welcome.

Great idea Clipper, how about having the Judges choice competitions as a sticky to promote them more, and possible have the judges comment more on the entries (i.e areas to improve...scenery, edit techniques etc).

Also i think that you should (amongst your busy schedule Wink) to bring back your sections on how you acheived certain shots.

Another good idea would be to set up like a little workshop on one certain shot. i.e everyone has a go at trying to recreate the styles used in the given shot.

With these i feel that the overall purpose of the Studio will come back and it should greatly improve everyones creativeness in their screenshots Wink

PS, lets try and keep Jake doing his Jakes Take, its a great help to a lot of people Wink

Some great suggestions there Stuart. I will set up the first couple of threads shortly. Jake will return....I'll stake my reputation on it. He's far too important a StudioV contributor, SimV member AND friend to lose. I'll badger, harang and pester him mercilessly until he returns, even if it's just to get me off his back.  Smiley

Is there anyway you could get rid of the topics which have had gallery nominations in them, just an idea to "tidy" up the Studio ???

PS Jake i wouldn't want to mess with that badger!

Seeing as all the current polls have expired, I've taken the liberty of removing them.  Smiley

No Mees, only the screenart selected for the Weekly Hotshot goes into the Gallery for now. No polls, submissions or entry attempts will be accepted until December 1, 2006, and then only on a very limited basis. We're working on new perameters for the Gallery now. BTW, congrats on having your pic selected for the Weekly Hotshot!  Smiley
