Wowee!! I finally got around to playing it! The game is fantastic...finally adds the much needed night environment that Most Wanted lacked...Here are some shots...It's kinda hard to hit PrntScrn while accelarating and turning...LOL...

I'd give this game a higher ranking then NFSMW...The cars are so much better...the N20 effect is more subtle visually...and the stroyline is better too...You can even get a dude in your car who motivates you and gives moral support...Gotta admit though, he does get annoying... Grin

Hope you liked!

Cheers,
Ashar Wink

How about the driving model of the cars, is it at least as good as in NFSMW ? Did they include a cockpit or damage model ?

The light on scenery effect looks cool !

Nope...no cockpit model...but this around, you can see inside the car like in shot 1...There is damage...but no model...just some scrapes and all...Nothing too special...But the gameplay itself is very cool! Challenging tracks and the AI is much better too! Even on easy settings, I only just got to 2nd place...This might be because I'm playing this game for the very first time...

I still prefer it over NFSMW 8)

I too went out and bought the game. and these are my thoughts on it.

Pros: Carlist is huge. Almost doubble that of NFSMW, but where are my S2000 or Ferrari? City is huge, very Tokyo like, but repetitive. With the exception of a few things, most of the city looks just like the other parts. Thus making free roam not fun to look at. Storyline. Its actaully believeable, and well intagraded. Not just a cut scene at the begining and end of the game. Driving physics are amazing. Even on the keyboard it handles just like you would expect the real thing to. Lots of cash, no more poor street racer barely being able to get parts for one car. I've got a full garage with fully upgraded cars. Cops and other traffic got really smart.

Cons: THEY TOOK MY GTR AWAY AGAIN!!! I'm sorry, but I bought MW because of the GTR, then when I it in the car list for carbon I got really happy. But no, again EA just plays with my emotions and takes it away again. All cars arn't unlocked at 100% completeion. You can't mod the Le Mans Quatro. The game was way too short. The early turf bosses are way too easy to beat. Online is kinda screwy. Theres no more lobby, but just tell EA kinda what your looking for, and they will find a server they think you will like. And if you want to play with your friends you have to go through a whole long process to hook up with them.

Overall I plan to keep it around, but I would suggest not buying quite yet. Its a good game, and thankfully they dropped it $10.

Cheers
Cameron
