Hoping for a quick fix. I'm in the middle of a landing as we speak, and for some reason, the options to say anything have poofed.

The atc is getting impatient and wondering if I copied and I can't reply  Lips Sealed  Any help, maybe it was a button mispress, but still, any help would be appreciated.  Grin

Radio log in your kneeboard should have the ATCs last tranmission. Then just open the ATC window again and answer appropiately.

Still not sure. Tried your solution, but it's just the same thing, unless I'm misreading it.  The radio log in the kneepad looks just like the ~ key button, but I still can't answer them back.  The options to say anything are still unavil...  ???

Possibly talking to another aircraft maybe. If you don't have anything in the log or the ATC window is blank - probabaly didn't need a response by you. If they did they'd just keep hounding you till they quit ATC services.

Ha, well crap. Bad timing as in the middle of a landing, but I'll continue it, regardless  Tongue  hopefully a restart will fix the problem. Embarrassed

But yea, I haven't encountered this problem before, and they want a response.

Alt-enter twice fixed it for me
or try setting transponder to 7600

"If the radio failure occurs in visual flight rules (VFR) conditions, the pilot is expected to continue under VFR and land when feasible. In instrument flight rules (IFR) conditions, the pilot is expected to follow the last instructions given by air traffic control, or follow their filed flight plan"

to communicate with ATC (FS9 or FSX) the ATC Window must be open; the ATC window is opened and closed with the tilde key.

Reference cited: FSX Keyboard Commands
RADIO COMMANDS ATC Window (display/hide) ` ACCENT or SCROLL LOCK
