Must be a slow news day. It was announced on the Red's site last week*.
I have a strange connection with the new Red 1, but I'm afraid it will have to remain a state secret!

Yep - I noticed that too!
Interesting BBC article - they give his rank as Sqn Ldr, and then go on to call him Mr Hawker! Unfortunately I think 0% of the BBC understand anything vaguely military...
