Looks like Michael Schumacher may be stepping up in the racing world.  Rumors have that he will be driving two NASCAR road races!! Grin  I guess he wants to see what a real racecar is like!! Grin

This is from the AutoExtremist website

   http://www.autoextremist.com/page3.shtml#fumes

Michael Schumacher. The great German Champion suffered a punctured tire early on in Brazil but stormed back to finish fourth in his final Formula One race. Schumacher, 37, retires with 91 victories in 250 Grand Prix starts, an incredible seven World Championships - and 68 pole positions. Rumors that he has signed a $10 million deal to drive the two NASCAR road races at Sears Point (Infineon) and Watkins Glen in 2007 could not be substantiated at our launch time.

O.K. you know I'm only kidding about the real racecar thing!! Wink

In my opinion, NO CHANCE!
If MS was to take part in "Tin top" racing it would be in the DTM or at a push, World Touring cars, more likely with Mercedes-Benz.
But then again he may return to F1 with Jean Todt & Ross Brawn as a team owner.
If he ever drives a Nascar in anger, I'll eat my hat.  Wink

Michael despises nascar. He's proclaimed it dangerous and the cars unworthy of his driving. He wont be racing any cars in 2007. 2008 possible reunion with Briatore and Renault. If that doesn't happen he wont be back at all. He's said its F1 or nothing.

Probably won't happen-ever. But think $10mil for 2 races? That would have to be a burn for the regulars, most of which won't make that in a full season.

Oh, they make that much money. Most of it goes towards bills though. Wink
